Like many Canadian families, I have a father who was in the navy and was on the
Nootka in the Korean War.  My husband's father was in the RCAF and was
stationed in Burma, India for a period of time.  He was a Navigator on the Lancaster.

Whenever I see a veteran asking for donations in trade for a poppy, I walk
right up to them and thank them.
It's important.

These are the men and women who have given us the freedom and the
luxuries of living in North America we all enjoy so much.
Their bravery and courage exceeds normal everyday people
in leaps and bounds.
If you know or knew someone who you respect for what they are doing
not only for your country, but for you and your family's lifestyle,
please watch this video and reflect in awe upon them.
Please watch it all.
It made me cry the first time I saw it and it still makes me tear up.
Thankyou to all the veterans and presently serving soldiers.
I appreciate you.

I love that you personally thank the veterans selling the poppies! There are getting to be so few left and need to know how much we appreciate their sacrifices!
